bio
Carrie Grey is a nationally recognized contemporary stained glass artist, renowned for her bold color and use of strong lines to create her abstract compositions. Her work has been showcased in notable Pacific Northwest galleries, including Seattle Glassblowing Studio, CORE, The Lynn Hanson Gallery, and Grey Sky Gallery.
A distinguished member of the Washington State Public Arts Roster (2023-2025), she was featured in Stained-Glass Association of America (SGAA) Quarterly (Winter 2022) and Luxe Interiors + Design (July/August 2023). In the Fall of 2022 and 2023, her studio was open to the public as a featured artisan in REFRACT: The Seattle Glass Experience.
While spending the Winter of 2024 at the Oregon Coast, Carrie and Arlo opened up a small studio in Tillamook called Kiki’s Satellite. Situated at the corner of the only traffic light in town, she then proceeded to liquidate all of her remaining panels and donated her furniture to Habitat for Humanity.
In the Spring of 2025, unfettered by the weight of “things,” she is now exploring what it means to explore her more bohemian roots and curious to see what it inspires. Currently, she is accepting select commissions, sharing her expertise through stained glass classes at NW Art Glass, and is under consideration for multiple public art proposals.
